KUWAIT (IRNA) -- The Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Jassim Al-Kharafi will visit Iran at the head of a parliamentary delegation.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of ceremonies marking the 30th triumph anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran, al-Kharafi, while announcing his Iran visit, said, “We hope officials of Iran and Kuwait will make efforts in line with interests of the two countries vis-a-vis the hard regional conditions. I am confident that officials of Kuwait and Iran are willing to discuss issues of mutual concern so as to reach a favorable result.”
He said Iranian and Kuwaiti parliaments are currently engaged in lengthy consultations on issues of mutual interests.
